Job summary

GE Vernova's Schenectady Technology Laboratory seeks a Lead Test Engineer who owns test programs, interfaces with customers, and guides expectations on safety, quality and delivery. You will scope tests, design rigs when needed, prepare estimates, coordinate vendors and lead multi-disciplinary teams to meet timelines.

Responsibilities include planning and executing tests, reviewing test results, ensuring CDT processes are followed, and presenting technical reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years engineering experience in energy/power, aerospace or regulated industries.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interface and lead assigned test programs and customer deliverables.
• Plan, prepare and execute test programs meeting facility capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams to design tests within capabilities or planned extensions.
• Lead test facilities improvements and ensure CDT process adherence.
• Deliver technical reviews, maintain test records and ISO compliance.
