Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Student Intern in Project Delivery Engineering to support design, relay settings, and grid reliability efforts. You will use CAD to develop drawings, perform one-line relay schematics, and assist with project scoping, estimating, and documentation across transmission projects.

The role involves data mining, reporting, and coordination with design, construction, and field teams to ensure milestones are met and standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate program in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8 (on 4.0 scale) verified by official transcript.

Responsibilities

• Perform design based on project scoping and site visits.
• Create construction drawings using CAD software.
• Prepare relay one-line drawings.
• Validate estimating prices and equipment units; ensure material is ordered and staged.
• Manage projects that are in construction.
• Complete as-built documentation.
• Participate in planning coordination calls.
• Assist in improving grid reliability and respond to equipment failures.
• Support lab testing, analytics, and data reporting.
