Job summary

Medtronic is seeking Engineering Interns for students across multiple campuses in Minnesota, California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Interns will work full-time for 10–11 weeks, with housing assistance and relocation support for eligible interns, and competitive compensation.

Positions cover Research & Development, Operations, and Quality Engineering, offering hands-on design, testing, and manufacturing exposure in a real-world medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Currently authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship for internship positions.
• Anticipated graduation date Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, analysis, and testing of engineering solutions during research and product development phases.
• Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis, and data-driven evaluation efforts.
• Support safety testing, regulatory compliance, and transfer of products from development into manufacturing.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in BiomedicalEngineering, MechanicalEngineering, ElectricalEngineering, IndustrialEngineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering
