Job summary

Medtronic’s Summer Internship Program offers full-time (40 hours/week), paid positions for 10–11 weeks, with housing assistance and relocation support for eligible interns.

Interns may support Research & Development, Operations Engineering, and Quality Engineering, contributing to design, testing, and manufacturing readiness.

Applicants must pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering field, be authorized to work in the United States, have a 3.0+ GPA, and be flexible on location.

Qualifications

• Prior experience inengineering design, testing, manufacturing, quality, data analysis, or product development through internships, academic projects, research, laboratory work, or relevant work experience.
• Experience with engineering software, programming, CAD, data analysis, or laboratory equipment.
• Experience creating technical documentation, laboratory reports, project summaries, test reports, or engineering presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, analysis, and testing of engineering solutions during research and product development phases.
• Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis, and data-driven evaluation efforts.
• Support safety testing, regulatory compliance, and transfer of products from development into manufacturing.
