Job summary

Medtronic offers summer internships for students pursuing engineering degrees. Internships are full-time, 10–11 weeks, with competitive compensation, housing assistance and relocation support for eligible interns.

Most positions are based at primary hubs across Minnesota, California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, with additional opportunities nationwide. Interns work onsite, are expected to commit 4 days/week, and must reside in the U.S. during the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline with anticipated graduationWinter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Medtronic does not sponsor internship work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Summer internships are full‑time (40 hours/week) lasting 10–11 weeks with housing assistance and relocation support for eligible interns.
• Most internships are based at hubs in MN, CA, CO, CT, MA with opportunities in AZ, FL, MI, TN, TX; interns must reside in the U.S. during the internship.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science)
