Job summary

System One is seeking an Energy Storage Pre-Construction Manager for a full-time, onsite role in Lake Mary, FL. You will lead the pre-construction efforts for energy storage projects, coordinating with engineering, construction, and PMO teams to ensure readiness and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a BS in Engineering/Energy/Construction Management and 10+ years of energy storage or related construction management experience, with strong leadership, scheduling, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in energy storage, power projects, or related construction management roles.
• Proven experience with EPC power projects, including project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-construction efforts for energy storage projects, ensuring planning, coordination, and execution align with project goals and client expectations.
• Develop and review project scope, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project readiness, including permitting, site assessment, and resource allocation.
• Manage and oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget adherence.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation for project management and clients.
• Ensure all pre-construction activities adhere to safety policies and company procedures.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives related to project deployment.
