Job summary

Matrix Design Group, LLC seeks a Test/Repair Technician to join its RMA department at the Newburgh, IN home office. You will inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies and finished goods returned by customers, documenting findings and supporting warranty claims.

The role requires attention to detail, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of electronics testing, troubleshooting, or repair preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic electrical principles and ability to interpret schematics.
• Experience using electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
• Proficiency in soldering and de-soldering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Track and prioritize incoming assemblies and finished goods for testing and repair to meet turnaround expectations.
• Probe, diagnose, repair, and document findings for returned products.
• Operate standard test equipment to test electronic assemblies and finished goods.
• Maintain organized records of tests, repairs, and failure modes.
