Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leader in advanced MANET and MIMO communications, is seeking an Engineering Technician - Electronics for its Irvine, CA campus. The role focuses on hands-on lab work, including detailed testing of RF, digital, and mechanical designs, and supports product qualification and transitions to manufacturing.

The candidate will work under the Senior Engineering Director, perform SMT soldering, device debugging, and data logging, and ensure a safe, ESD‑controlled lab environment

Qualifications

• Read and navigate complex electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Perform precision SMT soldering and assembly.
• Maintain lab safety and organize testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, parametric, and performance tests on RF and digital designs.
• Support environmental stress testing and qualification.
• Assist with debug and root-cause analysis.
• Set up and operate lab instrumentation (VNAs, scopes, analyzers).
• Prepare SOPs and document test results.
