Job summary

Silvus Technologies in West Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Engineering Technician - Electronics with a strong EE foundation to perform hands-on lab work, support product qualification, and assist with transitions to manufacturing (NPI). This role is 100% onsite, Monday–Friday.

You will run detailed tests on RF and digital designs, configure environmental stress tests, assemble test fixtures, and help debug at component and board levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and navigate complex electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Hands-on SMT soldering and replacement of fine-pitch components under a microscope.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience with Python or LabVIEW for instrument control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, parametric, and performance tests on RF, digital, and mechanical designs.
• Set up environmental stress tests including thermal cycles and humidity.
• Build test fixtures and wire harnesses; assist with reproducible test configurations for NPI.
• Document results with notebooks, failure analysis reports, and SOPs.
• Maintain lab safety and calibration intervals for equipment.
