Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electronics Technician to work in close partnership with our engineering team in an on-site lab setting. You will prototype designs, conduct weather and pressure tests, and participate in simulations to ensure effective unit prototypes.

The role emphasizes setup, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and coordination with flight test instrumentation for commercial and military applications. A strong focus on meeting deadlines and working in a lab environment is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
• Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as needed based on testing results.
• Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
