Job summary

Boeing Electronic Technician - Precision Machine Tool Maintenance is based in Washington State and is 100% onsite. You will install, maintain, and repair electronic and electrical systems on precision machine tools, troubleshoot PLC-based controls, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electronic/electrical experience in machine tool maintenance or related fields.
• 1+ years' experience troubleshooting PLCs or similar control systems.
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet and pass Fall Protection Training.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rework electronic and electrical systems of precision machine tools and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot communication protocols between machine tools and production systems.
• Use open computing architecture to diagnose issues and determine repair actions.
• Write and edit maintenance programs including alignments and ballbars using programming languages.
• Develop test programs to troubleshoot equipment movement for repeatability and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Company regulations while performing duties.
• Collaborate with other crafts to assist in troubleshooting beyond central control systems.
• Maintain equipment records, logs, and reports; plan jobs with tools, drawings, and procedures.
