Job summary

General Motors is seeking a QE Electrical Software/BP Coordinator for the Flint Assembly onsite. This role provides daily support for modular and software concerns affecting the plant, coordinating with suppliers and engineering to resolve issues and maintain production performance.

You will work with the plant Electrical Team to ensure issues are tracked, mitigated, and resolved, with a focus on PTR, SPPS, PRTS processes and BIQ4 metrics to improve warranty and throughput.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with automotive electrical subsystems.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to continually innovate.
• Able to root cause highly complex issues with Product and Engineers and translate summaries for non-technical audiences.
• Up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Single point contact for module reflsah (reflash).
• Ensures reflashed parts are used correctly.
• Write SPPS/PRTS for software/module issues.
• Assist Launch Wiring Coordinator with wiring and hardware quality concerns.
• Ensure TWO/EWO breakpoints are executed correctly with CIC Coordinator.
• Single point of contact to Electrical Team for VeSCom releases.
• Maintain AVG ignores tracking and removal with DVT Coordinator.
• Module scrap tracking and resolution.
• Maintain supplier module tester list and timing for testers.
• Update Electrical End of Line tracker.
• Support other Electrical team members as needed.
• Improve Programming metric for DRR and BIQ4 targets.
• Provide test files when needed (snapshot, fault file, Vehicle Spy logs).
• Improve pass rate at GBFTT to improve warranty and throughput.
