MPS in Alabaster, AL is seeking a detail‑driven Maintenance Technician to apply electrical theory and support design, evaluation and repair of electrical equipment. This onsite role collaborates with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and improve industrial control systems and electrical prototypes.

The position emphasizes following safety and quality policies, accurate documentation, and cost/time estimates for projects, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program.
• Ability to interpret work instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered.
• Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define and solve developmental problems.
• Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
• Install, repair, modify and upgrade industrial control systems; PLC logic troubleshooting.
