Job summary
Raytheon in McKinney, TX seeks electrical engineers for the Airborne Antenna Department to design and troubleshoot power systems, converters, and control networks on critical defense programs. Onsite role requiring ability to obtain DoD security clearance and work within DoD standards.
Responsibilities include system design, modeling, testing, analysis, and collaborative engineering with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in power system design, power conversion, power distribution, power sub-system design and/or control systems.
- Experience in modeling and simulation using LTSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Second-level troubleshooting of Production Test Equipment and Deliverable Hardware after escalation.
- Monitor test station health through data analysis and address failure trends.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Lead teams to meet schedule, budget and technical requirements.
- Present technical data reviews to leadership and customer groups.
