Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an onsite Hardware Engineer to design, analyze and support electronics for military programs. You will work on EO/IR, digital, analog, FPGA/VHDL, and IC design, contributing to transistor-level development and production support.

You will learn internal processes and tools, perform functional analysis and verification testing, and collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience.
• Experience with reading drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Experience documenting test results and repair recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multi-discipline teams supporting military programs through EE resources and design processes.
• Work on the design, analysis and support of electronics products.
• Including design or support work in EO/IR, digital, analog, FPGA/VHDL, ASIC areas.
• Transistor level analog and EO/IR design of ICs using modern technologies.
• Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design.
• Configurable digital logic development using VHDL.
• Functional analysis and verification testing.
• Troubleshoot with engineering and production to provide root cause and corrective action.
