Think Power Solutions is seeking a Distribution Construction Manager to provide on-site field construction management for overhead and underground electrical distribution projects within the Michigan Electric Service Territory. You will coordinate activities with internal teams, developers, and contracted crews to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in electrical distribution or transmission construction.
• Prior foreman or field leadership experience required.
• DOL Certified Journeyman preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide Field Construction Management for overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Coordinate, oversee, and schedule field construction activities with stakeholders.
• Plan, organize, and monitor contractor performance within project areas.
• Conduct field inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Review as-built vs. as-billed documentation for accuracy and billing integrity.
• Lead pre-construction meetings and communicate project scope and safety expectations.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to contractors and client crews.

Education

Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related field

DOL Certified Journeyman (preferred)

Valid driver’s license

Foreman or field leadership experience

Reading engineering drawings and maps

GIS mapping understanding
