Job summary

United Utility Services, a leader in electric utility construction, seeks a Construction Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of power distribution projects. The role emphasizes safety and quality, with onsite leadership and collaboration with field operations, project managers, and clients.

This position requires the candidate to be in office a minimum of four days per week and to manage subcontractors, ensure QA/QC, and maintain schedules throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in power distribution, construction, or project management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Be the single point of field accountability for distribution construction and onsite activities.
• Oversee day-to-day distribution construction including subcontractors and field crews.
• Lead site safety programs and ensure OSHA/compliance with project plans.
• Maintain construction schedule and track progress against milestones.
• Ensure QA/QC, testing, inspections, and as-builts for turnover.
