Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist in Mission, TX to join our on-site team within the T&O Global Supply Chain group.

You will implement internal audit programs, maintain training matrices, and coordinate corrective actions to strengthen site safety and compliance. You’ll train staff, develop certification programs for key roles, and drive a culture of safety and lean practices, including 5S, across the facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• OSHA 10-hour (OSHA 30-hour preferred).
• Experience as a trainer in manufacturing/EHS.
• Auditing experience and corrective actions.
• Minimum OSHA core courses (Recordkeeping; Hazard Identification; Risk Assessment).
• Lean Manufacturing and 5S familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Internal Audit program.
• Coordinate site document control and corrective actions.
• Maintain training matrix and administer training programs.
• Coach department owners in certification programs.
• Schedule trainings and promote safety culture.
• Maintain training documentation and real-time status.
