Job summary

Milacron in Mount Orab, OH is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct training, lead incident investigations, and foster a collaborative safety culture across the facility. Responsibilities include conducting audits, leading safety training and onboarding, and ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance.

You will develop JSAs and risk assessments and work closely with plant leadership, maintenance, HR, and staff to implement

Qualifications

• Experience supporting environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience conducting safety training, incident investigations, and compliance audits.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in machining, industrial manufacturing, metalworking, plating, or similar operations (nice-to-have).
• Knowledge of environmental compliance programs, hazardous waste management, wastewater treatment, SPCC, SWPPP, or related environmental processes (nice-to-have).
• Experience facilitating safety committee meetings and emergency response programs (nice-to-have).
• Associate's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field, or equivalent experience (nice-to-have).
• Experience developing JSAs, conducting machine safety evaluations, or supporting employee health programs (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking.
• Lead safety training programs, new hire onboarding, safety committee meetings, and emergency response training.
• Support OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, employee health, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), risk assessments, and safety procedures for manufacturing operations.
• Partner with plant leadership, maintenance, HR, and associates to identify risks and implement practical safety improvements.
