Job summary

MCC-Verstraete, located in Batavia, Ohio, is seeking an EHS Plant Coordinator to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at the facility. The role focuses on promoting a strong EHS culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, and driving corrective actions across audits, trainings, and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in EHS or related field, OSHA 30, and prior manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field is desired.
• OSHA 30 certification is desired.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive MCC Safety Culture and Zero-incident mindset.
• Support corporate and plant level EHS programs including audits, corrective actions, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop safety systems including job safety analysis, risk assessment, and machine safeguarding.
• Coordinate required training for all plant employees.
• Maintain safety documentation and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Oversee hazardous waste management and environmental compliance.
