Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Safety, Health & Environmental Manager for an on-site role based in Westchester County, NY. You will implement EHS plans, supervise EHS staff, and coordinate with the client's operations team to oversee SH&E aspects of construction.

Responsibilities include reviewing JHAs and EHASPs, conducting trainings, and preparing monthly EHS metrics. Strong background in construction safety and relevant CSP/CIH certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• US Valid Driver's License.
• CSP or CIH certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Safety or Engineering preferred.
• 5 years construction industry experience.
• ASP certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of personnel management experience.
• Experience with NYCDEP or tunneling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of EHS Plans and EHASP for construction.
• Supervise and manage onsite EHS staff.
• Coordinate with client operations to manage SH&E aspects.
• Support Job Hazard Analyses per client standards.
• Lead EHS training for staff and orientations.
• Review submittals: EHASPs, JHAs, SWPPP, waste plans.
• Facilitate weekly EHS meetings with project team.
• Track contractor EHS compliance and incidents.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and trend analyses.
• Oversee EAPs, drills and regulatory reporting.
