Job summary

Videojet Technologies, part of Veralto, is hiring an EHS Business Partner to lead safety, environmental compliance, and culture-building at our Elk Grove ink manufacturing facility in Illinois.

The role requires a hands-on practitioner with deep knowledge of OSHA/RCRA, and experience reducing risk on the floor through coaching and training across shifts. Travel up to 10-15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in chemical, solvent, ink, coatings, or similar manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910, RCRA hazardous waste, chemical safety, and industrial hygiene.
• Demonstrated ability to drive engagement and build safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day oversight of safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene activities across production, labs, and warehousing.
• Deliver practical, hands-on training that builds capability across all shifts.
• Build and execute risk-based safety and compliance measures to prioritize controls and identify hazards.
• Lead Kamishibai audits to reinforce safe behaviors and verify compliance.
• Create meaningful KPIs that track leading and lagging indicators and support continuous improvement.
• Build safety culture through coaching, communication, recognition, and leadership presence.
• Maintain OSHA/EPA required written programs (LOTO, HazCom, RCRA, Respiratory, Emergency/Spill Response).
• Oversee safe handling, storage, transfer, and disposal of inks, solvents, and hazardous materials.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for incidents.
• Manage spill response readiness and respirator programs.
