We are hiring an EHS Business Partner to lead environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing environment. This role combines regulatory compliance, environmental management, risk reduction, and continuous improvement to help protect our associates and strengthen operational performance.

The EHS Business Partner will collaborate with site leadership and the Global Director of EHS to establish strategies, track performance, and build sustainable improvements across the site.

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Look Like:
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance — Ensure compliance with Videojet policies and applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Oversee written programs, recordkeeping, reporting, inspections, audits, permitting, monitoring, testing, training, and medical surveillance.
  • EHS Strategy & Performance — Partner with leadership to establish annual EHS goals and KPIs, analyze performance, identify opportunities, and implement actions that drive sustained improvement.
  • Environmental Management — Manage and maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and oversee hazardous waste documentation, inspections, handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Regulatory Reporting — Coordinate required environmental reporting and provide guidance on site-level submissions, including Tier II, Form R, and BLS reports. Communicate progress toward EHS goals and the outcomes of regulatory inspections.
  • Customer & Contractor Requirements — Support the collection and maintenance of customer EHS requirements, including training records, certifications, and third‑party vendor assurance documentation.
  • Property Risk Management — Manage the FM Global property insurance program, track recommendations, and coordinate actions to achieve and maintain property risk targets.
  • Incident Investigation & Risk Reduction — Lead incident and accident investigations, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, industrial hygiene assessments, and GEMBA walks.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Business Continuity — Serve as the facility’s Emergency Coordinator and liaison with local emergency response personnel. Manage site business continuity and emergency response strategies.
  • Regulatory Response — Guide EHS‑related regulatory responses and follow‑up activities to resolve issues and minimize regulatory and reputational risk.
  • Continuous Improvement — Participate in EHS‑focused and cross‑functional Kaizen activities. Implement and sustain tools such as 4E (HC/JHA/FME), Kamishibai, and MAT to strengthen performance and embed best practices.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Sustainability, or another engineering- or science-focused field.
  • At least three years of EHS management experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
  • Experience managing compliance issues, permitting, manufacturing operations, OSHA/EPA programs, regulatory reviews, permit preparation, reporting, and recordkeeping.

  • Ability to travel up to 10–15% for benchmarking and Kaizen activities at other Videojet facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or another EHS-related certification.
  • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor experience.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Builds effective partnerships with associates, site leaders, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Translates EHS requirements into practical actions in a manufacturing environment.
