Job summary

Loenbro Midwest is seeking an experienced EHS Site Manager to provide day‑to‑day safety leadership on a major power plant project in Lincoln, Nebraska. This management‑level role ensures OSHA compliance, elevates safety performance across site operations, and maintains a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• CHST certification or 5+ years' construction safety experience.
• Experience in electrical safety and data center construction.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA standards and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
• Willingness to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Loenbro’s safety policies, procedures, and training.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of field safety professionals.
• Conduct daily site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance.
• Lead incident and near‑miss investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation including safety metrics, reports, permits, and regulatory logs.
• Collaborate closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to advance safety initiatives.
• Support planning and execution of high‑risk activities including electrical work and critical lifts.
• Promote a strong, proactive safety culture through coaching, training, and engagement with the workforce.
