Job summary

Ventura Foods in Albert Lea, MN is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Assistant to support the EHS Manager in planning and maintaining safety programs. You will work closely with plant staff to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and provide training and documentation.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and at least one year of EHS experience; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining OSHA and EPA compliance with mandates from Corporate.
• Assist with EHS program implementation and incident investigations.
• Identify hazardous conditions and audit safety practices on site.
• Oversee inspections such as fire extinguishers and environmental program verifications.
• Support Safety Committee activities and sustainability projects.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
