Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator to support the EHS Manager. You will help plan, implement, and maintain safety programs, training, and compliance across the Saint Joseph plant, working closely with supervisors and employees.

The role focuses on OSHA/EPA compliance, incident investigations, and daily safety rounds. Ideal candidates have an associate degree and at least one year of EHS experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of EHS experience preferred.
• Proficient in training methodologies and curriculum development.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining OSHA and EPA compliance and related training documentation.
• Support EHS program implementation and incident investigations.
• Identify hazardous conditions and conduct rounds to audit safety practices.
• Oversee inspections and maintain inspection records and environmental reports.
• Assist in site safety initiatives and sustainability projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
