Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated EHS experience in high-risk construction environments.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Card and active First Aid/CPR/AED required.
• Preferred CSP, ASP, CHST certifications.
• Mastery of 29 CFR 1926, EPA Title 40 CFR, NRC 10 CFR.
• EHS software and digital field auditing tools proficiency.
• Strong leadership and communication to influence safety behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee site-specific safety and environmental programs on complex construction projects.
• Conduct daily site audits to enforce OSHA 1926 standards and identify hazards.
• Ensure EPA SWPPP and NPDES compliance, including waste management and dust controls.
• Authorize halting work for unsafe or non-compliant activities.
• Design and deliver safety trainings, orientations, and briefings for personnel and subcontractors.
• Lead root-cause analyses for near-misses and incidents; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA 300/300A, EPA waste manifests, SWPPP logs, and NRC data.
• Represent the organization during OSHA, EPA, or NRC inspections.
