Job summary

Protingent Staffing seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Construction Coordinator for a contract role in Kemmerer, WY. The candidate will conduct daily site audits to enforce safety standards, lead incident investigations, and oversee OSHA, EPA, and NRC compliance across high-risk construction environments.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of EHS experience, OSHA 30, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated EHS experience in high-risk construction environments (industrial, infrastructure, or nuclear facilities).
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Card; active First Aid/CPR/AED provider.
• Preferred CSP/ASP/CHST certifications.
• Proficiency with 29 CFR 1926, EPA Title 40 CFR, and NRC 10 CFR frameworks; experience with EHS software and field auditing tools.
• Leadership to influence safety behaviors across subcontractors.
• Strong written and verbal communication for policies and executive data.
• Travel 0-5%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site audits to enforce 29 CFR 1926 compliance and identify safety hazards.
• Provide safety training and site orientations on OSHA, EPA, and NRC protocols.
• Lead root-cause analyses for near-misses and environmental incidents; track corrective actions.
• Maintain safety logs, OSHA 300/300A, EPA waste manifests, and NRC tracking data.
• Represent the company during OSHA/EPA/NRC inspections.
