Job summary

Casey’s in Ankeny, IA is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support the store endpoint and edge infrastructure powering our retail operations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to modernize technology and maintain availability, security, and efficiency across all locations.

The role requires Linux systems experience, Python/PowerShell scripting, REST APIs, and Active Directory administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining technical solutions in a business environment.
• Experience with Linux systems engineering and administration in production environments.
• Scripting experience with Python and PowerShell for automation and tooling.
• Experience integrating systems via RESTful APIs and secure data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support store endpoint and edge infrastructure that is secure, scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.
• Develop automation and tooling using PowerShell, REST APIs, and other modern technologies to improve efficiency.
• Monitor health and performance of store infrastructure and drive resolution through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new solutions and enhance existing platforms.
