Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Network Specialist to support a military hospital network in Box Elder, SD. You’ll manage Cisco/Brocade routing and switching, VLANs, and firewall/VPN components to ensure SLA-driven LAN/WAN services.

The position requires active DoD SECRET clearance eligibility, CCNA, and Security+. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes on-site operational support with strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience with 3+ years in networking.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, and routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for LAN/WAN across the medical network campus.
• Troubleshoot network issues and manage tickets related to routing and switching.
