Job summary

Don Selvy Enterprises (DSE) seeks a Journeyman IT Specialist to support IT operations and DoD cybersecurity compliance at NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD. The role emphasizes hands-on IT support, documentation, and security configuration in a DoD environment.

The position requires Onsite work 100% and U.S. citizenship, with a focus on implementing CMMC Level 2 practices and maintaining SSPs and POA&Ms.

Qualifications

Associate degree (or higher) in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
At least three years of IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration experience.
Familiar with DoD/CMMC concepts and Windows administration.
Experience with security documentation and audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and 2 IT support for Windows laptops, M365, and basic network issues.
Assist with user account management and device configuration across Intune and Azure AD.
Maintain asset inventories, patch logs, and change records.
Support CMMC Level 2 practices, access control, and incident response prep.
Help update security docs like SSPs and POA&Ms.
Ensure systems remain compliant with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
