Job summary

BOOST LLC is seeking a Journeyman IT Specialist to support DoD IT operations and compliance initiatives at NAS Patuxent River, MD. You will handle hands-on IT tasks, document configurations, and help keep systems aligned with cybersecurity requirements.

Onsite role requiring DoD ecosystem knowledge, strong documentation skills, and a citizenship clearance. Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure AD is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least three years of IT support, helpdesk or systems administration experience.
• Familiar with CMMC Level 1 or NIST 800-171 requirements and DoD cybersecurity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support for Windows laptops, Microsoft 365, and basic network connectivity.
• Assist with user account management, device configuration, and troubleshooting across Intune, Azure AD and M365 Admin Center.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, patch logs, and change records; support CMMC Level 2 practices.
