Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager (ISSM) to own and drive RMF-based cybersecurity for DoD systems. You will lead inspections, authorization, and continuous monitoring, ensuring authorization readiness and risk management.

A Top Secret clearance and DoD certifications are required. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor ISSOs, and coordinate POA&Ms while ensuring RMF alignment with JSIG/DAAG guidelines.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required to obtain clearance.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance on day one.
• IAM Level III certification per DoD 8570/8140 (CISSP, CISM, GSLC).
• Experience performing ISSM responsibilities for classified systems.
• Advanced RMF and DoD system authorization knowledge.
• Willing to travel domestically up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity responsibilities for assigned information systems.
• Lead inspections, assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring.
• Execute and maintain system authorization using RMF/JSIG/DAAG.
• Maintain DD Form 254 awareness and contract security alignment.
• Develop, validate, and maintain cybersecurity plans and artifacts.
• Communicate cybersecurity risk to senior leadership.
• Lead continuous monitoring and POA&M closure.
• Oversee Change Control Boards and security impact reviews.
• Coordinate corrective actions from inspections or incidents.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Security teams.
