EIGENNET LLC is seeking a Document Imaging Specialist for full-time, onsite work in Washington, DC. You will prepare physical case files, operate production scanners at 300 ppi, capture images with appropriate color settings, run OCR, and ensure metadata and batch records are accurately logged.

You will participate in QC, maintain chain-of-custody, log non-paper media, and support lawful disposition after validation, following the project’s procedures and security requirements.

Qualificações

• Able to prepare documents for scanning and align with indexing schemes.
• Experience with document metadata capture and batch records.
• Strong attention to detail in QC and logging of issues.
• Ability to identify non-paper media and log appropriately.

Responsabilidades

• Document Preparation: remove fasteners, flatten pages, repair damage, separate media, insert sheets; follow indexing scheme.
• Scanning and Image Capture: operate scanners at ≥300 ppi, 24-bit color or 8-bit grayscale, avoid lossy compression; ensure proper cropping and skew correction.
• OCR, Metadata, and QC: apply high-accuracy OCR, flag low-confidence areas, capture required metadata, participate in QC sampling.
• Chain of Custody, Records Handling, and Disposition Support: maintain intake logs, log non-paper media, secure storage, and support destruction after validation.
