Job summary

Cornell University is seeking a Temporary Food Service/Kitchen Worker (Dish Machine Operator) for its Ithaca, NY campus. The role is onsite with variable schedules to support dining operations and ensure clean, safe dishwashing services.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher and related equipment, maintaining health code standards, and assisting in material handling as needed. This is a temporary hourly position.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dishwasher and other cleaning equipment in a safe manner following health code guidelines.
• May support routine cleaning projects, material organization, or equipment preparation; transportation of materials within the department.
