Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer to support a DISA program based at Scott AFB, IL. The role is full-time and onsite, focused on installation, configuration, activation, testing, and support of DoD network services.

You will work with DISA standards, coordinate IT&A, and collaborate with customers, solution architects, and vendor SMEs to implement network changes. Expect responsibilities spanning service orders, change management, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• 4–8 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Experience with DISA standards and network installations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT&A and data input for new service activations.
• Implement network services per DISA standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with customers, architects, and SMEs on changes.
• Manage Service Orders per Change Management.
• Ensure TSOs are accurate for scheduled changes.
• Configure devices using approved templates and configlets.
• Analyze DISN databases to validate requirements.
• Design and test solutions for complex networking challenges.
• Coordinate circuit activations with vendors.
• Monitor network during and after implementation.
