Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks in field and on-site settings. This hands-on role rewards independence and variety, backed by a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks.
• DOT inspections and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication with customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventive maintenance and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Diagnose electrical, brake, cooling and air systems and fix issues.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs meet standards.
• Document repairs using mobile apps and digital tools.
