Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to keep fleets on the road. This field-based role offers independence, adventure, and the chance to work with a wide range of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a company-provided service truck.

You’ll be supported by a team, receive weekly pay, a company-paid fuel card, tools and safety gear, health benefits after 30 days, a 401(k) with match, and paid

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication with customers and drivers.
• Own hand tools and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Respond to emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use handheld devices and diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs meet standards.
• Maintain safety and compliance during field work.
