Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support / Field Services Technician for a long‑term contract based out of Jacksonville, NC. You will assist with assessment, deployment, migration, and go‑live support through the project lifecycle.

The role includes Windows 10/11 support, imaging, hardware deployment, Active Directory and strong customer service. This onsite position offers benefits and a pay range of $18–$20 per hour, with potential extension beyond the October 2027 go‑live date.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of desktop support, field services, or technical support experience.
• Windows 10/11 support and troubleshooting.
• Hardware deployment and workstation setup experience.
• Active Directory experience (user setup, permissions, password resets).
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zoho Desk, Remedy, or similar.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently throughout hospital and clinic locations.
• Ability to lift and move technology equipment as part of deployment activities.
