Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Engineer Intern to provide onsite technical support, keeping end users productive and devices running smoothly. You will work with the IT team and client site staff in Hooksett, NH, onsite five days a week.

The role requires current enrollment in a STEM program and the ability to work 20 hours per week, with a start in October 2026. You will configure new devices and contribute to SOP updates, ensuring knowledge bases stay current.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university pursuing a STEM major.
• Available to work part-time, 20 hours per week, onsite.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between HQ and Retail locations as required to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite hardware support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Assist with printer-related issues and requests.
• Configure new desktops, laptops, and printers per SOPs.
• Review and update SOPs; create new SOPs for evolving processes.
