Job summary

LevelUP HCS in Jamaica, NY seeks a Deputy Financial Controller to lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year planning, reporting to the Finance Director and partnering with the Financial Controller.

You will mentor a team of 3–5 finance professionals, drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls, and deliver actionable insights to executives while coordinating audits and internal reporting.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in financial controllership/FP&A or related leadership.
• At least 3 years leading and developing teams.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and corporate reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, close and audits.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience with Oracle or similar systems.
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA/FPAC preferred.
• Airport/infrastructure industry experience.
• Experience driving FP&A automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, multi-year planning, and rolling forecasts.
• Partner with project finance to align short-, mid-, and long-term plans.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital forecasts.
• Prepare executive dashboards and financial commentary.
• Coordinate month-end/year-end close and external audits.
• Develop and mentor a team of 3–5 finance professionals.
• Maintain strong financial controls and reporting standards.
