Job summary

Current is seeking a hands-on Finance Director to serve as the embedded financial partner to firm and regional leadership. You will own financial planning, reporting, forecasting, analytics, and cost management while guiding leaders on operational drivers of performance.

The role requires NY Metro-based presence, deep FP&A expertise, executive presence, and ability to work in detail with cross-office collaboration across New York and New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
• Experience within professional services, a multi-entity or multi-location business.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and strong GAAP understanding.
• Experience with ERP, planning, and BI tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive, SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills.
• Based in the New York Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting with clear leadership recommendations.
• Lead annual budget, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts.
• Define and monitor KPIs across revenue, margin, utilization, realization, and profitability.
• Partner with leaders on growth initiatives and resource allocation.
• Investigate performance issues and identify root causes with actionable improvements.
• Develop scenario models for investments, acquisitions, and market expansion.
• Support diligence, integration modeling, and synergy tracking for acquisitions.
• Drive FP&A infrastructure improvements and self-service analytics.
