Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Delivery Assurance Specialist to monitor delivery performance and coordinate recovery actions for assigned programs. You will work with internal product teams, operations, supply chain, engineering, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, and timely escalation when needed, in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with exposure to SAP and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience in delivery assurance, customer support, operations, supply chain, program support, logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute delivery assurance objectives for assigned programs, proactively monitoring performance and coordinating actions to support on-time delivery.
• Monitor delivery schedules, program status, and critical customer hardware to identify potential risks, anticipate delays, and initiate timely resolution efforts.
• Collaborate with Collins Product Teams and cross-functional partners to investigate and resolve issues affecting customer requirements and delivery commitments.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned programs, communicating regularly with internal and external customers regarding delivery status, emerging concerns, and recovery actions.
• Track critical customer hardware through shipment and delivery, partnering with logistics and other functional teams to address transportation issues and minimize customer impact.
• Perform escalated expediting activities as needed, coordinating recovery efforts and driving follow-through on actions required to meet customer commitments.
