Job summary

Maymont Homes, part of Brookfield Asset Management, is hiring a Data Scientist to fuel data-driven decisions across the organization. This onsite role in Charleston, SC focuses on building and deploying predictive models using Python, SQL, and Excel, with hands-on data analysis and reporting.

You will partner with Asset Management and Operations, own the modeling lifecycle, and translate complex findings into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of data science or analytics experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to handle ad hoc data requests and support day-to-day questions.
• Build predictive models in Python to address defined business problems with senior team input.
• Deploy models into production and monitor their performance.
• Summarize findings into clear takeaways for business partners.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure scalable, reliable datasets.
