Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Data Scientist to leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI to solve complex business challenges. You will develop, validate, and deploy predictive models using Python, and perform hands-on data analysis with SQL and Excel.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions, owning the end-to-end modeling lifecycle and delivering actionable insights that drive business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied quantitative work.
• Strong Python, SQL, and Excel skills with ability to handle ad hoc data requests.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and collaborative software development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to address data requests and ad hoc questions.
• Build predictive models in Python and validate results.
• Deploy models to production and monitor performance.
• Summarize findings into concise, actionable insights for stakeholders.
