Job summary

Strive Pharmacy is hiring a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing at our Mesa, AZ location. The role focuses on accurate data entry, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with pharmacists and providers to ensure timely medication delivery.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5:30pm or 9:30am–6pm, fully onsite with a salary of $22.00-$23.00 per hour. This position emphasizes quality control, regulatory compliance, and patient privacy in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona State Pharmacy Technician license (non-trainee) and current CPhT certification via PTCB or NHA required.
• 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy data entry position (retail, community, or mail-order).
• Proficient computer ability and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate.
• Demonstrated background in customer service with professionalism.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays as operationally required.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Processing: Accurately process new and refill orders, review before submission, meet KPIs.
• Provider & Patient Collaboration: Obtain missing or unclear prescription details and demographics.
• Data Verification: Confirm accuracy of patient, prescriber, and medication data.
• Workflow Coordination: Partner with pharmacists and staff to maintain efficient operations.
• Compliance & Privacy: Adhere to HIPAA and all applicable regulations.
• Technical Precision: Maintain high level of attention to detail across tasks.
