Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. seeks a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing operations in a busy pharmacy. You will enter orders for pharmacist review, maintain customer records, and generate labels for dispensing while responding to inquiries. Proficiency with SIG-Codes and fast typing is expected.

This onsite role runs 2:30pm–11:00pm with rotating weekends, and requires independent, accurate work and a strong work ethic to uphold CARE values and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with FL Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous experience in pharmacy required.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
• Must be multi-tasking and reliable.
• Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
• Quick typing skills.
• Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
• Generate labels for dispensing.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Clarify orders as needed.
• Triage incoming faxes.
