The State of Florida, Department of Health in Broward County, seeks an OPS Senior Clerk to perform high-detail data entry and scanning of confidential information into HMS, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accuracy.

This on-site OPS position offers health benefits for full-time employment, eligibility for a deferred compensation plan, and requires completion of People First applications; no paid time off is provided.

Qualificações

• One (1) or more years’ professional clerical or data entry experience.
• One (1) or more years professional experience conducting medical/dental insurance eligibility.
• One (1) or more years customer service experience in a clerical/cashier position within the past three years.
• One (1) or more years experience working with confidential or sensitive information.

Responsabilidades

• Enter data and scan a high volume of confidential information into a database system.
• Identify and correct data entry using quality control methods.
• Enter client data into HMS system, register patients, record dental services, run insurance eligibility reports and bill for services performed.
• Other related duties as assigned.
