Job summary

PCL Buildings Inc. is seeking a Scheduler to support a national data center unit in Abilene, TX. You will develop and maintain master schedules, coordinate with site teams and subcontractors, and drive progress updates to keep milestones on track.

The role requires a technical degree or diploma preferred, with 3+ years in scheduling and strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office. On-site work with opportunities for career growth and industry-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• Engineering technology diploma or bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
• Basic ability to read construction drawings, specs and contracts.
• Understanding of field operations and sequencing of work across project phases.
• Ability to apply planning principles and complete quantity take-offs.
• Knowledge of scheduling principles and Critical Path methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
• Understand project document controls and procedures.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and incorporate production analysis into the schedule.
• Communicate with site staff and subcontractors for progress updates.
• Perform site walks to verify short-term lookaheads and validate schedule.
• Contribute to planning and scheduling across preconstruction, construction and closeout phases.
• Support interactive planning and scheduling sessions.
• Assist management to create and monitor short-term schedules and assess impact on master schedule.
• Update schedule logic and produce progress reports for the team.
• Create 2D and 4D schedules; 4D scheduling for larger jobs.
• Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule and track progress.
