Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist for Data Center projects based in Sparks, NV.

The role focuses on developing and sustaining an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) and ensuring compliance with safety regulations on-site and in the office. The ideal candidate will coordinate with project leadership, perform field safety observations, and support training and incident investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• CPR/FA certification preferred.
• STS and STSC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation of safety program effectiveness through daily field walks and log observations.
• Support the safety team in executing project-specific corrective actions for safety issues.
• Provide feedback to safety leadership on safety improvements and recognition.
• Assist with job site safety orientations for new employees joining the project.
